2 musicians got together in 1998, they made a few demo tapes under the name of 'Cradle'. A while later one moved to Spain and the other formed a rock band. In 2003 they reunited and recorded an album with some other musicians under the name 'Body Pilots'. In 2007 the pair were both in a position to commit enough time to their ongoing projects and so decided to finally make a proper album. This was the birth of The Blue Jar.
