The Crainium were yet another short-lived but amazing post-punk band consisting of members who would later go on to play in Gang Gang Dance and Blood Lines. The Crainium were part of a small subset of bands in D.C. that never made it to Dischord that were heavily influenced by No Wave, free jazz, and bands like The Pop Group and Contortions.
