The Dead Alewives were an improvisational comedy troupe during the 1980s and 1990s from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Like other similar groups, such as The State and Upright Citizen's Brigade, they did not get a lot of press during their active life, but the group's individual members have gone on to become noteworthy since the group's breakup.
