Officially formed on October 1st 2006, The Explicits are a four-piece punk/metal band originating from the Jacksonville, FL area. Renee Phoenix, 20, lead singer and rhythm guitarist, has been playing for well over 10 years and has grown up listening to such bands as Garbage, No Doubt and Metallica.
