The Gateless Gate is an ambient/instrumental duo from Ontario, Canada. Influences include avant-garde, Krautrock, progressive rock, psychedelic, ambient and psych folk. The debut recording, Xinjiang, was inspired by Central Asian music, culture and history. Each track is intended to evoke a key person or place in the history of Xinjiang.
