The Guest Speaker is an indie rock band from Buffalo, NY. In the summer of 2005, The Guest Speaker was formed by members James Lotterer, Jason Overholt, and Francesco Cimato as a indie-rock trio influenced by Modest Mouse, Q and not U, and Minus the Bear. As the summer ended, the band disbanded as the band's members were absorbed into personal responsibilities.
