The John Whites started in 2005 with the release of The Complete First Season. The album was recorded by John in his basement. Later that year Josh Brown, Jenny Guerra and Ben Alvarez joined The John Whites playing their first show in January 2006. The John Whites released Play Their Songs, their first album as a band, in November 2006.
