The Little Rock Nine was an emo band from Clarkston Michigan (a suburb of Detroit) circa 1996/7. They consisted of a few young hardcore kids who were heavily involved in the punk/hardcore/emo scene in the early 90's. They were Grace, James, Jae and Matt. Being inspired by bands such as Current and Indian Summer as well as Huggy Bear and the Third Sex resulted in their soft/load dymanics and screaming female vocals.
