The Magicake are Jack, Joe and Dirty Lulu. The band was born in the late summer of 2002 under the name "Vanity Kills" in Padua, north-east Italy. In may 2003 came out their first single: "Red Lipstick", a 12" then re-released on may 2004 (Scrambled records-Germany) that had a good success all over the world. The song has been played on BBC1 (Annie Nightingale) and Ministry of Sound radio (Dj Hal) They changed their name in "The Magicake" when they realized their first producer was a cunt and they fucked the contract off.
