Gert De Meester, also known as user Doorchaser, the bass-player of The Seven Laws of Woo, and knob twiddler of Distant Fires Burning, lives in Mechelen, Belgium. It all started with a Commodore 64. Gert (born May 17, 1977) was taking care of the C64 for a friend who needed a place to put it while renovating his house. Gert soon discovered he could use the C64 to create electronic music.
