There are two bands with this name: It is the name of a folk group from Denver, Colorado. The heart of The Mile Markers rests in Julie Stratton (guitar/vocals) and Bevin Foley (fiddle/vocals). After meeting serendipitously in 2002 mutual friends urged the two to collaborate musically. Soon it was strikingly apparent that the music each woman created complemented the ot her perfectly.
