1) The Minority are a five piece band based in Belfast and founded by college friends Tim Murphy and Alan Ladd in 2007. The band draws on influences from electronic, pop, indie and acoustic genres including from bands such as Radiohead, Elbow, Doves and REM. They have gigged throughout Northern Ireland and in 2008 completed a UK tour stretching from Southampton to Dundee.
