The Physical Act of Love (T.P.A.O.L) formed in Sydney in 2007 as an outlet for a group of like-minded friends to share and jam on their musical ideas. Their first album, Loose Lips (2007), was recorded over two days in a makeshift studio within two of the members Marrickville warehouse home, and their first gig played not long after and with only one rehearsal.
