Raconteurs members Brenndan Benson and Patrick Keeler along with “some friends” were performing Raconteurs songs under the moniker The “Racontwoers”. The reason why it’s not actually The Raconteurs is that fellow Raconteurs members Jack White and Jack Lawrence are not present. The group presented itself on the Record Store Day of 2012 (april 22nd) and played new material.
