The Red Airplanes came together in October of 2004 when both singer/guitarist Nathan Walker and guitarist Chris Rocha were joined by guitarist Joel Carpenter. Based out of Beaumont and Houston Texas, TRA is not ashamed to be considered a Christian band, as their goal is to "challenge young and old alike to take their God given responsibility of reaching the world for Christ."
