The Shadow Grounds's lyrics & chords

The Shadow Grounds is an experimental noise drone project based out of Portland, Oregon and headed up by David Kyle of Secret Codes and Y La Bamba. Each album is based on a book and written as a score for that book. The first EP being based on Haruki Murakam's "A Hard Boiled Wonderland at the end of the World". As well all the recordings are all site specific and recorded on battery powered gear in order to get into interesting spaces such as a cave or sewer.
