There are two bands named The Shears: 1) Summer 2003 project of former Hurtu members Sam Deutsch, Aidan McEneaney, and C-Mac. Other members included Alex Signorino, Jeff Ziga, and Tim Nelson. They recorded two EPs at Summer Music Programs "¡Swing Pad!" and "Smokin' in the Girls Room."
