The Skates are a skate-punk parody group from Lubbock, Texas. After seeing the film Harold and Kumar, the members "Dan-Man Flash Grenade", "Danny Hawk" and the notorious "Mikhail Michael Mitchel-stork" decided they wanted to make music that completely embodies the mind-set of the Extreme Sports Punks in the movie.
