The long and the short of it is that The Slow Wire was born out of necessity. The singer/multi instrumentalist/producer David Urbano was a well known Jersey scenester, photographer, and founding member of the late indie heroes Aviso'Hara, played guitar in the agit-art band Suran Song in Stag which also featured his friend Claude Coleman Jr from Ween/Skunk on drums, drove the bass for Bubblegum Thunder and recorded an Album with Steve Albini in Chicago, and was also known as dreadlocked "DBuzz" on bassness in the New Brunswick, indie metal outfi...read more
