BIOGRAPHY The Split Infinitives began when Holden Martinson and Brian Adkins during early high school in Haslett, MI. The duo was influenced by groups, such as Green Day, Death Cab for Cutie, Pavement, Radiohead, The Smiths, and other alternative rock groups. Martinson was on vocals, guitar, bass, and keyboards, while Adkins played guitar, bass, and drums, with Martinson as the primary songwriter.
