The Sun and the Moon were Mark Burgess and John Lever of The Chameleons, and Andy Clegg and Andy Whitaker of Music for Aborigines, with both Andys on guitars. The group formed in 1987 out a friendship between Mark and Andy Clegg who had played keyboards with the Chameleons.
