The Swellings were a New Wave band from Reutlingen, Germany. Founded in 1994 the band split up in 2004. They described themselves their sound as New Wave, bowed Punk and infective Morbid-Pop. The band members were: Eva: Organ, Singer Schneller: Guitars, Mandoline Mai-Goll: Drums Daniel: Bass Guitar Schneller and Mai-Goll founded the band Stragula and Eva is performing as a solo artist under the name "Photonia".
