About Tommy Tommy was born in Lake Charles, LA in 1950 into a family that loved music. Mable & Junior's small but potent record collection included Bob Wills, Elvis, Louis Prima, Buck Owens, and even Herb Alpert. Tommy caught the bug early and never recovered.
