The Trojan Men was founded in January 2005 at the University of Southern California by then freshmen Evan Bregman. Only nine guys auditioned and on March 3, 2005 the group had its first concert with its founding five members, performing three songs. In December of 2007, the group held their first annual Bovard Holiday Show. Prior to this, no group at USC had ever done a solo show in the university's largest venue.
