The band was formed in New Orleans and played their first show in 1995. The lineup was solidified more or less that year (give or take a member) with Zac Wilson-vocals, guitar Ben Curtis – guitar, Keith Hajjar – drums, and Melissa Giorgio on bass. Their influences vary:Soundgarden, The Jesus Lizard, Failure, Smashing Pumpkins, Jawbox, Quicksand, Chavez, Fugazi, Sonic Youth, Shiner, Swervedriver, and The Afghan Whigs to name enough.
