Late '80s Philadelphia-area hardcore, originally named Suburban Uprise. The Uprise formed in June 1986 and played their last show in Fall 1988. Over that time they shared bills with the likes of Warzone, Cro-Mags, Dag Nasty, Youth Defense League, Raw Power, Dayglo Abortions, Pagan Babies, Vision, The Exploited, Uniform Choice, The Mentors, and Social Distortion.
