Thru Black Holes Band was a basement blend of space rock, spoken word, and atmospheric psychedelia from southern Ohio. Members Mike Roden, Jerry Rieger and Sug Franklin (later replaced by "Bolt" Bill Rolson) independently released 24 cassette albums between 1989 and 2004. Like the vertex where lo-fi meets sci-fi, TBHB sound like cosmic sermons filtered through early Ween bootlegs.
