Trans-atlantic duo Thus Owls comprise husband and wife Erika and Simon Angell. They formed in Sweden as an outlet for the songs of Erika, who's Swedish, and they split their time between Montreal and Sweden. Enchanting third album Turning Rocks (also out on vinyl) was recorded in Montreal, and features such name guests as Taylor Kirk (Timber Timbre) and Marie-Pierre Arthur.
