Tina Louise (born February 11, 1934) is an American actress, singer, and author. She is best known for her role as the movie star Ginger Grant on the situation comedy, Gilligan's Island (1964–1967).She worked as a model, nightclub singer, and stage actress in the 1950's, and had several minor credits on Broadway.
