Born in 1964 in Germany as child of south african refugees. Tlako started learning guitar and drums and bass guitar singing and percussion at the age of 15years. His parents were musicians as well. They formed a band and toured many times through Germany and Italy. His musical influence started with James Brown, Isaac Hayes, The Commodors, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, and many unknown south african musicians.
