Tortuga Eléctrica is the electronic project of the Spanish freethinker, musician, poet and visual artist Danrob. The name of the band is said to be a reference to Pokémon's "Squirtle" which reminded Danrob of his psychologically turbulent youth. The Project was co-founded with HusT, a member of the cult band Heterogenic Thought Fiction in mid 2005, but HusT had to left the band because of respiration dysfunctions.
