There are at least 2 artists known as Turbines. TODAY Turbines is a post-rock/electronica trio hailing from Rochester, NY, formed in 2006. Currently releasing a 3 track EP IN THE PAST Rock-a-Billy/Greasy Garage/Swamp Rock combo from Roxbury, Mass. who made a brief impact in the mid-80's and dissembled when lead/rhythm guitarist Jack Hickey left (see The Lyres).
