Tyler Smith is a singer-songwriter influenced by such artists as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Willie Nelson, Damien Rice, Bright Eyes, Jimmie Rodgers and various other artists from the folk, singer-songwriter and blues traditions. He began making music with the band Lydia's Address in 2003. The band released one e.p. (in addition to a re-release featuring three bonus tracks) which they recorded in Dubuque, IA and Nashville, TN. They broke up in 2006, at which point Tyler began focusing on his solo material.
