Formed in January '82, in Hebden Bridge just outside Halifax, guitarist Andrew 'Grif' Griffiths and vocalist Adrian 'Adie' Bailey had previously been in Delinquent, whilst bassist Duf and drummer Jas were with Dreaded Cult. The first Ultra Violent demo was a very basic affair recorded in Halifax during April '82. It failed to generate any interest from labels.
