unitcode:machine started in 2000, by Eric Kristopher; after a long run with the band Xero. It is a project that focuses on attempting to bring back the harsh industrial sound while grabbing on to Synthpop roots. This is a self made genre called "Noise-Pop". It is a combination of Harsh EBM, Industrial, IDM, Noise, and Synthpop.
