Tim Norman and Luke Boucher met at school in 1985, later forming UVX and going on to sign to Magick Eye records. After first establishing a home studio in Brixton, in the mid 90s a studio was set up along with a third musician and producer, in a former public toilet in subterranean Brighton - the Underground Cell Studio.
