Váli is a drone doom metal band from Essex, UK. Váli was formed after several incarnations as various doom bands that never took off because of a lack of vision or direction. But then, in 2007, Váli was fully conceptualised and born, with large musical influences from Thor's Hammer, Katatonia, Amon Amarth, Sunn O))), The Melvins, Boris, My Dying Bride and Paradise Lost among others, though they may not sound entirely like any of these bands.
