Vacant Theory started off in the November of 2008 as a solo project of William Jollay, in Newark, DE. There were a quick 3 months of "experimental" type music, most of which is on Nou. (being like 6 tracks.) Eventually he dropped the project and moved on to trying to be in a real band. He joined local post-punk band Birds in Flight.
