Vangeria started in Kentucky in 2009 as sort of a personal supergroup with members of Nightshade, Temples of Sin and Apocryphal Revelation with the original intent of making black metal. However, as everyone also shared a common interest in the underground metal of the late 70's and early 80's, the classic style started to take shape in the music.
