The brazilian singer Vassourinha (Mario Ramos Oliveira) was born in São Paulo SP May 16, 1923, and died in the same city on Aug 3, 1942. The origin of his name (broom) is due to the fact that a famous taxi driver in Sao Paulo in Largo do Paissandu use to pick up the last clients of the club Ponto Chic and people start to invent that he was the son of such o Vassoura .
