Verülf is Caleb Joshua Gray. A brilliant ambient/experimental composer and a genius of musical texture and form. Gray began Verülf in 2007; around the same time that Gray's brother Matthew Gray (Matthew and the Arrogant Sea) and Bryce Isbell (FUR) met and began making music. Caleb Gray, Bryce Isbell, and Matthew Gray formed a sort of collective between the three of them, spawning over ten mini-bands and projects.
