Vicki Logan - born Vicki Lee Vietzke - never really planned on becoming a composer/musician. In 6th grade she was introduced to band class and played the flute, but was never really good at sight reading music and had a hard time "reading" it in band, But, somehow she managed to memorize everything by listening to everyone around her.
