Vidar Vang (b. 1976) is a Norwegian songwriter and musician. He grew up in Bjerkvik, a small town above the Arctic Circle in Northern Norway, and started to write songs in his late teens. In 1998, he released «Blue», his unofficial debut album, recorded in his hometown. The album was sold at numerous acoustic shows throughout Northern Norway. In August 2000, Vidar moved to Oslo.
