Vidya is an Indian-born American, who loves to travel, eat and sing. She was born in Chennai and grew-up in Virginia. She has learnt Carnatic classical music since she was a young girl and have had many amazing gurus throughout her journey, including D.K. Nagarajan, brother of the late D.K. Pattamal.
