View From Here formed early in 2010 as a group of students from Glasgow University hailing mostly from Irvine In North Ayrshire. Looking to play some straight out modern rock music a la Goo Goo Dolls and Foo Fighters the band hit the student union circuit as well as some of the most well known smaller venues in Glasgow such as Stereo, Capitol and Pivo Pivo.
