Vital Farias (Taperoá , January 23, 1943) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. In 1975 he moved to Rio de Janeiro, where he participated in many important artistic events, including the piece "Gota D'Água" by Chico Buarque de Hollanda. In 1981 he graduated from the Faculty of Music. The first recorded song by Vital Farias was "Ê Mãe", in collaboration with Livardo Alves and recorded by Ari Toledo.
