The Walmart Associate Choir was formed in 1995 as a very small, informal group of people who loved music and loved Walmart. The Choir debuted the same year at the 1995 Walmart Shareholders Meeting with "Wal-Mart Pride," a song written by Verl Mason, Guest Choir Director.
