Welfo or Wuelfo (born in Santiago de las Vegas, Havana, Cuba as Welfo Gutiérrez 23 September 1942 - 31 March 2005) was a Cuban vocalist who lived for about twenty years in his hometown. He was completely dedicated to music since he was very young, and created in his town a vocal quartet named "Los Fraternos" that lasted until approximately 1961, after which he left the country (in PanAm's last flight from Havana).
