White Bears of Norway was a side project of The Rational Academy. Taking the name from an early Rational Academy compilation track, the group played shows throughout Australia and Japan in 2009 & 2010. White Bears explored the groups growing interest in darker music, especially bleak folk and black metal. Eventually most of the material was absorbed into The Rational Academy catalogue.
