White Linen is a three-piece girl band hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio. The members, Kirsten Bladh, Veronique Allaer, Sarah Madges, and later Ian Willemin, got together out of sheer boredom and a mutual love for indie music in the fall of 2005. They began writing and recording their songs as sophomores at the same all-girls Catholic high school and contrived the name from a Feist song.
